| Jellyfish is now MSN Cash Back Search |

Today it was announced the completion of implementing good old Jellyfish.com into the new MSN Live Cash Back search. MSN bought Jellyfish in October 2007. The functionality is still pretty much the same. As a merchant and datafeed manager this means more traffic: "Your experience will remain largely unchanged with respect to managing your account (placing bids, adding products, and so on). The major difference between Jellyfish and Live Search cashback is the potential for increased traffic to your site now that Jellyfish is a part of the Microsoft family. Additionally, you will see new branding on the site, and consumers will encounter a new and improved shopping experience." I spent couple of hours making sure all my client's feeds were processed correctly. Images are still missing and the search result pages still need some work. Overall I think this is a win-win for both MSN Live Search, Jellyfish and customers.             |
